Javier Delgado
Attorney Delgado is a former
Insurance Company lawyer. His
background as a lawyer includes

becoming a lawyer, Mr. Delgado was a
former Insurance Company Adjuster
for 6 years and has experience
meeting with property owners,
scoping damages, preparing estimate
of damages using Boechs and

James L. Dennis
For over 20 years, Attorney James L.
Dennis was the Managing Attorney or
Senior Trial Attorney for the
biggest Insurance Companies in the
world including, AIG, Nationwide,
Firearm’s Fund and AETNA Insurance
Companies. Jim has tried in excess
of 70 jury trials in State and
Federal courts and argued appeals
before The Supreme Court of the
State of Florida and the Federal
Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jeremy Hogan
Attorney Hogan is admitted to
practice in California and Florida,
where he has represented some of the

world. Mr. Hogan’s experience
includes defending Insurance

Natalie A.
Jackson
Attorney Natalie A. Jackson is a
former Naval Intelligence Officer
and worked in a 6 person think tank
at the Pentagon. Natalie received
the Joint Service Achievement Medal
while working for the Joint Chiefs
of Staff. Natalie is a seasoned
trail lawyer, having taken over 100
cases to trial through verdict.

Eric T. Kirk
Attorney Eric T. Kirk has prosecuted
hundreds of lawsuits in the last 12
years. Mr. Kirk has also authored
several books for a respected legal
publisher. Eric is a member of both
The New York and Florida Bar and has
thousands of hours of courtroom

Keith Lambdin
Attorney
Lambdin represented Insurance
Companies for 18 years and has tried
cases both for and against Insurance
Companies.
Chad J. Lucas
Attorney Chad Lucas is a graduate of
Florida State University. Chad was a
member of the Moot Court Board in
Law School and won several Moot
Court Competitions while in school.
Chad has represented Insurance
Companies for the past 11 years. His
experience is extensive in first
party property claims and insurance
defense claims, representing clients
like AIG, GEICO, and other major
insurance companies. Chad has
recently “switched” sides, and now
only represents Condominium
Associations and individuals against
insurance companies in first-party
property damage claims.
Karen Marcell
Attorney Karen Marcell attended law
school in New York and graduated
with honors. Prior to law school,
Ms. Marcell graduated at the top of
her class and received valedictorian
honors. Attorney Marcell is licensed
to practice law in the states of
Florida, New York and New Jersey.
For 13 years Karen’s legal career
has focused on representing
plaintiffs against the insurance
industry. Karen graduated from law
school in New York with honors in
1994. Prior to law school, Ms.
Marcell graduated at the top of her
class and received valedictorian
honors.
Rafael Martínez, J.D.

Rafael Martínez earned his
Juris Doctor degree from the most
prestigious University in Puerto
Rico where he is admitted to
practice law. Rafael has been
recognized as an All American
Scholar and is the recipient of the
United States Achievement Award.
Rafael is fully bilingual and has
extensive legal experience in
Insurance Law and Construction Law.

Daniel Newchurch
Attorney Newchurch is licensed to
practice law in Louisiana and
assists Hurricane Katrina survivors

Manager)
Cristina Ramirez is an
attorney from Colombia. Cristina

Attorney Schwartz is a Double Board
Certified lawyer with 30 years
experience. Mr. Schwartz and Mr.
Garfinkel have worked together for
15 years. Mr. Schwartz attended
Stetson and the UT Law School where
he was a Law Review Editor.
Laurence Trias
Laurence Trias immigrated into the
United States at the age of nine
from Barcelona, Spain. Mr. Trias
later obtained his Juris Doctor in
the United States and concentrates
his work at the Garfinkel Trial
Group on Insurance Policy coverage
review.
Brian E. Wiklendt (Case Manager)
Wiklendt graduated from
Emory University in Atlanta Georgia
and then became Editor of his Law
Review. Mr. Wiklendt represented the
largest Insurance Companies in the
country for 10 years prior to
joining Garfinkel Trial Group. Brian
is admitted to practice law in
Georgia where he previously worked
for Alston & Bird, LLP. Not admitted
to pratice Law in Florida.
David P.Yon
Attorney David P. Yon is an 11 year
trial lawyer. David spent the
majority of his career defending
insurance companies before joining
Garfinkel Trial Group. David’s
experience as a former Insurance
Company lawyer is an invaluable
asset which allows him to obtain the
best results possible litigating
hurricane claims. David is admitted
to both the Florida and Connecticut
Supreme Court.
Mary J. Perry
A graduate of Harvard Law School in
1988. Attorney Perry, has worked for
some of the most prestigious law
firms in America. Mary is admitted
to practice law in Florida, Texas,
Alabama and Mississippi. Mary has
extensive experience in Commercial
and Tort Civil Litigation and has
worked extensively in cases
involving Class Actions,
Racketeering, Fraud, Breach of
